Job Description:
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for Internal Medicine professionals experienced in clinical reasoning, patient-care scenario development, evidence-based evaluation, diagnostic analysis, treatment planning, and structured medical feedback.
This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on AI clinical reasoning evaluation, healthcare response review, medical scenario design, guideline-based assessment, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will create clinically realistic prompts, evaluate AI-generated medical responses, assess reasoning quality against evidence-based standards, and provide structured written feedback based on detailed evaluation criteria.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Scenario Design
- Design clinically realistic prompts and patient-care scenarios based on Internal Medicine practice
- Develop scenarios involving diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, risk stratification, and guideline concordance
- Create high-quality reference responses that reflect strong clinical judgment and evidence-based medical reasoning
- Support varied healthcare evaluation tasks across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty-adjacent Internal Medicine contexts
AI Medical Response Evaluation
- Review AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, reasoning quality, completeness, and patient-care relevance
- Evaluate whether responses appropriately address the clinical scenario, risk factors, diagnostic considerations, and treatment options
- Identify unsupported claims, missing clinical nuance, unsafe recommendations, weak reasoning, or incomplete explanations
- Grade responses against structured rubrics and project-specific evaluation criteria
Structured Medical Feedback & Quality Control
- Provide clear, precise, and evidence-based written feedback on AI-generated clinical outputs
- Explain assessment decisions with professional judgment, consistency, and attention to medical standards
- Follow detailed task instructions and apply clinical review criteria accurately
- Participate in onboarding, calibration, or specialty alignment activities when required
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
- Professional expertise in Internal Medicine, hospital medicine, or Internal Medicine subspecialty practice
- Strong clinical reasoning skills across diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, and evidence-based decision-making
- Ability to evaluate medical written outputs with accuracy, nuance, and attention to patient-care implications
- Strong written communication skills and ability to provide structured, well-supported feedback
- Comfort applying detailed rubrics, clinical guidelines, and evaluation criteria consistently
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous, project-based environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete high-quality review work within project timelines
Educational Background
- Attending physicians should be board certified with a current, active, unrestricted medical license
- Resident physicians should be in their final year of Internal Medicine residency or recently graduated and board-eligible
- Fellows should be board-certified or board-eligible in their primary specialty and hold a current, active, unrestricted medical license where applicable
- Internal Medicine subspecialty backgrounds may be relevant, including Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, and related fields
- Professional experience in clinical medicine, medical education, healthcare quality review, clinical documentation, research, or guideline-based assessment is highly relevant
Nice to Have
- Experience designing clinical cases, patient scenarios, medical exams, teaching materials, or board-style questions
- Familiarity with evidence-based medicine, clinical guidelines, diagnostic frameworks, and treatment standards
- Experience reviewing medical documentation, clinical recommendations, or healthcare-related written content
- Comfort identifying clinical reasoning gaps, unsafe recommendations, unsupported conclusions, or missing patient-care considerations
- Experience participating in calibration sessions, peer review, medical education, quality improvement, or structured assessment workflows
