Job Description:
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in physical sciences, experimental research, quantitative data analysis, scientific reporting, technical evaluation, and structured scientific review.
This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on physical sciences research review, scientific task development, experimental-method analysis, quantitative data assessment, technical reporting, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their subject-matter expertise to review realistic scientific scenarios, evaluate technical outputs, prepare structured feedback, and support accurate, evidence-based scientific workflow tasks.

Scientific Research & Technical Review
- Review scientific materials involving physical sciences, experimental methods, quantitative analysis, and technical reasoning
- Evaluate scientific outputs against source materials, research context, methodological standards, and documented review criteria
- Support structured review of research summaries, scientific explanations, technical reports, experimental scenarios, and analytical workflows
- Identify missing assumptions, methodological gaps, unclear reasoning, and expected scientific review outcomes
Experimental Methods & Quantitative Data Analysis
- Review scenarios involving experimental design, measurement workflows, data interpretation, statistical reasoning, and scientific reporting
- Evaluate quantitative outputs for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and alignment with scientific principles
- Support structured review of datasets, charts, lab-style documentation, research notes, and technical analysis materials
- Prepare clear written explanations for scientific conclusions based on source materials and verifiable criteria
Task Development, Evaluation & Structured Feedback
- Create or review tasks and deliverables based on real-world physical science workflows
- Provide domain-specific feedback on scientific accuracy, reasoning quality, data interpretation, and technical communication
- Support evaluation workflows involving model outputs, scientific reasoning, and research-style problem solving
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
- Professional experience in physical sciences, experimental research, applied science, scientific analysis, laboratory work, quantitative research, or technical reporting
- Background in one or more areas such as physics, chemistry, materials science, earth science, atmospheric science, astronomy, applied mathematics, or related scientific fields
- Familiarity with workflows involving experimental methods, data analysis, scientific reporting, research documentation, and technical evaluation
- Comfort reading and preparing scientific artifacts such as research summaries, data analyses, experimental notes, technical reports, charts, and methodology descriptions
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
Educational Background
- A degree or professional background in physics, chemistry, materials science, earth science, environmental science, astronomy, applied mathematics, engineering, or a related physical sciences field is helpful
- Graduate-level research experience, laboratory experience, scientific publications, or applied technical work is highly relevant
- Equivalent practical experience in scientific research, quantitative analysis, technical reporting, or structured scientific review is also valuable
